+ 11 years ago I wrote one letter to a Spanish newspaper and was published in the section of letters to the editor.

+ Back in the 1980s, the Reagan administration happily cooperated with the precursors of al-Qaida in America's covert war against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan.

+ It never occurred to the Americans then that the same people working with them to overthrow the Soviets would one day follow the lead of the blind sheikh Abdel Rahman and attack America (1993 World Trade Center bombing) and years later, follow the leadership of Bin Laden to destroy America.

+ After the attacks of 11 September there were people who said that Nostradamus had predicted that disaster. Even someone invented a quatrain. I have not found any of these terrorist acts, but 11 years ago I found a quatrain describing the war in Afghanistan between the U.S. and some clerics unfair or unpleasant, is this quatrain:

 From the Latin "Jovialis" relating to Jupiter. The Americans give thanks to God on the fourth Thursday of November (the day of Thanksgiving) and Thursday in latin means the day of Jupiter. If you read a dictionary etymological you will see the relationship or you can read in "The Devil's Dictionary" by Ambrose Bearce the word "Zeus".

(2)  President Bush requested the extradition of Bin Laden to the Taliban government of Afghanistan. The response was the request for evidence of crime and a religious meeting of experts in Islamic law or the Afghanistan's Grand Islamic Council of Ulema (4). Around 600 clerics, or ulema make up the council and its decision was contrary to the interests of the United States. Bin Laden will not be delivered and demand evidences of the crime.

A good product into the wrong hands.

Then I wrote a letter that said this:

+ "I have tried to meet the required limits without losing consistency and clarity the arguments in defense of a French physician named Nostradamus are being fulfilled now .I think there is a Nostradamus quatrain that refers to the current Afghan conflict. belongs to the Century X, number 73 and reads:

 "The present time together with the past
Will be judged by the great Jovialiste,

 The world too late will be tired of him,
And through the clergy oath-taker disloyal"

 The clergy jurist would be the reunion of Afghan Ulema (Doctors of Muslim law, lawyers and theologians) who refused to obey the orders that came from the United States.

  The word "Jovialiste" represents the United States by his absolute power as "Jovialiste" derived from the Latin word  "Jupiter", the god maximim of Roman mythology, and by their origin: They celebrate the day of thanksgiving in memory of parents pilgrims who stayed in the new world, the fourth Thursday of November, and Thursday in latin means the day of Jupiter.

 So my interpretation would be this: United States may decide what is right or wrong in the world, but this power will be late and Afghan Taliban Ulema it rise up against him and defeated him.

+ Now I just have to wait and see if what I suspected for more than 10 years is about to become reality.

+ There is already a date for the flight of Western troops from the territory of Afghanistan: 2014.
+ On the other hand the production of drugs is increasing, much more than in the time of the Taliban government or any other era .
+  It's too late for the United States and they will lose. The Taliban and its allies win. Why? I do not know, but that's history.

Reactions to the September 9 and 11 attacks:

The preludes to the 9/11:

  Otherwise known as the blind sheikh, Abdel Rahman was the mastermind of the jihadist cell in New Jersey that perpetrated the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. His cell also murdered Rabbi Meir Kahane in New York in 1990. They plotted the assassination of then-president Hosni Mubarak. They intended to bomb New York landmarks including the Lincoln and Holland tunnels and the UN headquarters.

After the August 1998 U.S. Embassy bombings were linked to Bin Laden, President Bill Clinton ordered missile strikes on militant training camps in Afghanistan. U.S. officials pressed the Taliban to surrender bin Laden, and the international community imposed sanctions on the Taliban in 1999, calling for bin Laden to be surrendered. The Taliban repeatedly rebuffed the demands, however.......

 9/9 and 9/11:

 The assassination of anti-Taliban leader Ahmad Shah Massoud on 9 September 2001, and the 11 September attacks on the United States, in which nearly 3000 civilians died in New York City, Arlington, Virginia, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The United States identified members of al-Qaeda, an organization based in, operating out of and allied with the Afganistan government or Taliban's Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (1), as the perpetrators of the attacks. Mullah (2) Mohammed Omar (3) was Afghanistan's head of state from 1996 to late 2001 and is the spiritual leader of the Taliban.

  Mullah Mohammed Omar en a BBC's Pashto interview after the September 11 attacks in 2001, he told that "You (the BBC) and American puppet radios have created concern. But the current situation in Afghanistan is related to a bigger cause - that is the destruction of America...This is not a matter of weapons. We are hopeful for Allah's help. We prefer death than to be a part of an evil government... "

World said:

 The attacks were denounced by mass media and governments worldwide. Across the globe, nations offered pro-American support and solidarity.United Nations Security Council Resolution 1368 condemned the attacks, and expressed readiness to take all necessary steps to respond and combat all forms of terrorism in accordance with their Charter. Leaders in most Middle Eastern countries, and Afghanistan, condemned the attacks. Iraq was a notable exception, with an immediate official statement that, "the American cowboys are reaping the fruit of their crimes against humanity".While the government of Saudi Arabia officially condemned the attacks, privately many Saudis favored bin Laden's cause. As in the United States, the aftermath of the attacks saw tensions increase in other countries between Muslims and non-Muslims

Ultimatum:

 On 20 September 2001, U.S. president George W. Bush addressed the United States Congress and demanded that the Taliban deliver Osama bin Laden and destroy bases of al Qaeda. On 5 October 2001, the Taliban offered to try Bin Laden in an Afghan court, so long as the United States provided what it called "solid evidence" of his guilt, but the U.S. would not hand over its evidence to the Taliban.

After the September 11 attacks on the U.S. and the PENTTBOM investigation, the United States made the following demands of the Taliban,

1. Deliver to the U.S. all of the leaders of Al-Qaeda
2. Release all foreign nationals that have been "unjustly imprisoned"
3. Protect foreign journalists, diplomats, and aid workers
4. Close immediately every terrorist training camp
5. Hand over every terrorist and their supporters to appropriate authorities
6. Give the United States full access to terrorist training camps for inspection

The U.S. petitioned the international community to back a military campaign to overthrow the Taliban .On September 22, the United Arab Emirates, and later Saudi Arabia, withdrew recognition of the Taliban as Afghanistan's legal government, leaving neighbouring Pakistan as the only remaining country with diplomatic ties. On October 4, the Taliban agreed to turn bin Laden over to Pakistan for trial in an international tribunal that operated according to Islamic Sharia law, but Pakistan blocked the offer as it was not possible to guarantee his safety. On October 7, the Taliban ambassador to Pakistan offered to detain bin Laden and try him under Islamic law if the U.S. made a formal request and presented the Taliban with evidence. A Bush administration official, speaking on condition of anonymity, rejected the Taliban offer, and stated that the U.S. would not negotiate their demands.

The document collection includes high-level strategic planning memos that shed light on the U.S. response to the attacks and the Bush administration's reluctance to become involved in post-Taliban reconstruction in Afghanistan. As an October 2001 National Security Council strategy paper noted, "The U.S. should not commit to any post-Taliban military involvement since the U.S. will be heavily engaged in the anti-terrorism effort worldwide." The Taliban ambassador to Pakistan, Abdul Salem Zaeef, responded to the ultimatum by demanding "convincing evidence" that Bin Laden was involved in the attacks, stating "our position is that if America has evidence and proof, they should produce it." "If infidels invade an Islamic country and that country does not have the ability to defend itself, jihad becomes an obligation on all Muslims."

 Finally, the Taliban refused to hand over bin Laden to US authorities and to disband al-Qaeda bases in Afghanistan. In October 2001.

 WAR

 The War in Afghanistan (2001–present), began on October 7, 2001, as the armed forces of the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and the Afghan United Front (Northern Alliance) launched Operation Enduring Freedom. The primary driver of the invasion was the September 11 attacks on the United States, with the stated goal of dismantling the al-Qaeda terrorist organization and ending its use of Afghanistan as a base. The United States also said that it would remove the Taliban regime from power and create a viable democratic state. A decade into the war, the U.S. continues to battle a widespread Taliban insurgency, and the war has expanded into the tribal area of neighboring Pakistan.

 The War in Afghanistan is also the United States' longest running war. On 1 December 2009, U.S. President Barack Obama announced that he would deploy an additional 30,000 soldiers over a period of six months. He also set a withdrawal date for the year 2014.

+ The Taliban seized the provincial capital of Kunduz on September, prompting the United States to play a more active role in the fight there. A hospital run by Doctors Without Borders was badly damaged by what appeared to be American airstrikes (killing at least 22 and wounding nearly 40).
